What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is slow-paced style of yoga, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other yoga styles. Yin yoga is meant to help promote balance within your body by working the deep connective tissues. A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs etc. This style of yoga is extremely beginner friendly.
